Rain and more rain

The decision as to if we were going to ride this morning was answered by Mother Nature. Woke-up around 7:00 AM to pouring rain and strong winds. Turned off the alarm, rolled over, and went back to sleep. The ride would have been short anyway.

The Trek Travel camp officially ends today. All in all, it was a great experience. The week was well organized and ran very smoothly. Our guides were a hoot! You’ll have to ask each of us to share stories about being lead around all week by very strong, female riders.

In a couple hours we leave for the Palma Airport and for Steve, Lisa, Neil and me, our flight to Zurich. Tomorrow we flight from Zurich back to California. Mike and Jonathan will party tonight in Palma and then fly home on Sunday. They already have a craft beer place in mind.

One last thing to look forward to on the trip. At the recommendation of Lisa and Neil, Steve and I changed our hotel tonight to the Radisson Blu at the airport. We’re promised that the Wine Angel show in the dining room is something to behold. I won’t be reporting on the experience in this blog.

Thanks everyone for reading and sending us words of encouragement over the last week.

Cheers from Mallorca.
